True to color

They work great. I wrote for about an hour straight and it never got patchy at all. They write very smooth and the coloring is beautiful in them. 100% worth it, great product for a great price

These are inexpensive pens with different colored inks that write comparably to name-brand gel pens I’ve used, so I’m quite happy with the performance.The pen design is fairly standard, with the only notable deviation being the abbreviated clip at the top. It doesn’t affect me much—I rarely use pen clips—but I did stick one in my shirt pocket and noticed that the bottom of the clip barely reached the top of the pocket. It wouldn’t do a great job of keeping the pen upright or secure. So if you rely on the clip to hold your pen in place, that’s something to be aware of.I really like the way these pens feel. They’re plastic, but with a matte finish that gives them a softer, more pleasant tactile feel—not hard or overly slick like typical plastic pens. There’s no additional grip section, but I didn’t feel the need for one. The click mechanism is a top button and works with a satisfying clunk.The writing performance is smooth, and I’m satisfied with the colors. The ink dries instantly and doesn’t smear. There’s no indication on the packaging about whether these are refillable, but they unscrew at the bottom like many refillable pens do, so I’d assume it’s possible—assuming you know what type of refill to use. I’m guessing, given the price, most people will treat these as disposable.I don’t usually comment on pricing in reviews or let value weigh too heavily in my opinion, since prices on this platform change constantly and there are always coupons, deals, and promotions in play. That said, at 42 cents per pen at the time of ordering, I think these are a solid deal.

Love it.. so smooth soft

For only $5, these are an amazing buy. There are lots of colors and the colors are bright and exactly what you would want/expect.I have conflicting thoughts about the retractable aspect of the pens that I didn't think about until I got them. I LOVE not having to mess with pen caps. It's so nice to be able to grab a pen and quickly get it operational with one hand.However, I have a concern about how quickly the pens might dry up. The pens come with a tiny bit of plastic on the end that you have to remove before using the pen. I presume that plastic bit is there to keep the pens from drying up before reaching the customer. Other pens that I've gotten with lids don't have that little plastic bit (though I haven't bought a lot of pens in my life, so maybe I'm wrong about that--but that's my experience).So does that mean that these pens won't last as long? I won't know for a while, but I'm not too, too worried either. For this price, I'm not expecting super long lasting pens. And the ease of use is a reasonable tradeoff. Though I hate to waste planetary resources. So, hopefully these pens will last a long time. :-)BOTTOM LINE is that we shall see if the retractable gel pens work long term. In the meantime, I like these pens a lot.
