After months of stalking FB Marketplace and the Rogue site, I decided to give these a try. They are awesome! Don’t wait. Go ahead and order these with confidence.My biggest worry was grip size. I was concerned that the 35s would have a skinny grip. But, the grips on the 35s and the 50s are identical to each other and the same as the Rogue ones at our gym.They did smell like rubber when I opened the box. So I rinsed them off in the laundry sink with some dishwashing liquid and now they smell slightly of green apples. How delightful! Soon, I imagine they’ll smell like sweat. Cheers!

They’re dumbbells—not much to be said. The material seems alright but maybe less dense rubber than those at the gym. That said, the rubber might not hold up to a lot of abuse, but as these are for your home gym they won’t be put through nearly as much use and abuse as those in a regular gym would. The grip feels decent—the knurling dogs a bit compared to those at the gym, so I’ll probably try to use my gloves with these. Not much of a chemical smell either, which was a plus.After using several steel dumbbells and had the finish break off (once a metal piece fell into my eye and I had to fish it out!) it’s rubber coated for me for now on!

I weighed both separately and the weight was even, perfectly. They fit hands comfortably. Some reviews griped about a rubber smell. Well, they are rubber coated, and the smell dissipates in a few days. These are great!!!

Seem well manufactured with good rubber coating and comfortable grips. Only complaint as others have mentioned is they do give off quite a strong chemical odor. Hopefully that will fade over time.
