This is a solid arrangement for solo piano. The orchestral parts are merged with the piano sections to create a single score for all 3 movements. For the most part, this tracks the solo piano in the original score, although in a few cases (like the early difficult double hand scherzo run in the 1st movt), it has been slightly simplified. The 2nd movt is fun to play and really does a good job IMO of blending the back and forth between piano and orchestra. Haven't started 3rd movt yet so cant speak to that but it looks promising.Physically, the book is average or slightly below average. Printing is nicely spaced making it easy to read. Cover is thick stock paper but is holding up so far.Overall, I really like this version. It's so hard to find an arrangement of any movt of this concerto anywhere so to have it for all 3 movts is a bonus. And it's well done and fun to play. If you're at all interested in doing a solo version of this concerto, you won't be disappointed with this purchase.

While the solo piano score is fine in itself, the printing is really quite bad. The top stave of each page is cut in such a way that the top notes and other musical notation marks for the right hand part are often simply missing. Something has happened in the printing and guillotining process. Fortunately, I have been reading music for the last sixty years and am able to identify the notes that are missing from the top edge on general musical principles. I have not returned it simply because I wanted to get on with learning and playing it. But it is a real disappointment to have to reconstruct it in this way, especially given the cost. I will think twice about buying from this company again.
