I could imagine these would be ok in an environment that didn't get below 30 degrees but don't bother for the UK. The hinge on the cover stressed (went white) cracked and the cover fell off after 3 or 4 open close cycles. The materials are terrible quality!The only saving grace of these is the copper cable thickness. It can probably take a fair amount of current from likes of a portable solar panel.So if you are in the market for something that doesn't need a cover or is in such a place as it will sit on it without getting lost then go ahead. I would send these back straight away if I hadn't mounted them and cut the cable connector off to extend already. Total CAK.

I've bought a few of these in the past but this is the first from this seller. Included screws are a bonus but what surprised me was the inclusion of crossover sae connectors. What a nice touch. I've used these for my own home made 12 volt power boxes. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Die Steckdose und der Stecker sind ordentlich mit dem Kabel verbunden. Ich benutze es in Verbindung eines Kabels mit MC4-Steckern.Achtung: Die Steckdose polt um. Minus wird zu Plus, Plus wird zu Minus. Entweder die Kabel entgegengesetzt anschließen oder besser den mitgelieferten Adapter benutzen, je nach Verwendung.In meinem Fall: Solarpanel plus 4 Meter Verlängerung - kurzes Kabel zur Steckdose (bei dem sind die Farben vertauscht) - ab Steckdose dann wieder rot/Plus, schwarz/Minus.Man sollte den Kabelquerschnitt bedenken. Für meinen Zweck reicht er.
