I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this package. The fabric Rolanpro uses is much better than the foam LensCoat uses, and the camo print itself looks much better as well. Each piece is meticulously tailored for a perfect fit, have different backing materials for each piece to maximize each dial’s operation, each button hole is perfectly placed, stitched around the edges, and have a bead of silicone around them to keep moisture out. Each piece also has stitched edging to prevent fraying (unlike LensCoat). They were easy to install, and don’t come loose with use. Really excellent design and fabrication. You won’t be disappointed!

For a few years, I've had LensCoat covers on my wildlife lenses and became frustrated with how the fabric edges on top of the neoprene frays, sometimes getting threads caught in the focus and/or aperture rings. I decided to try this Rolanpro lens cover and am very impressed with how well it fits and how nicely finished the edges are. My lens feels much more protected and I have no problems using any of the controls.
