0.3では細すぎて折れやすいですが、0.5では太いなって感じていて、0.4を見つけて購入してみました。自分にはちょうど良いです。

Ordered new "Lead, 0.4mm HB, 30 Leads" (for my Uni Mechanical Pencil) and they took rather a longish time (12 days) to arrive ... but they did come all the way from Japan (I'm UK lake district) and the Corona-virus pandemic delayed things a bit too ... so not complaining too much. The leads are very thin but strong and pencil is a good product, better than most other propelling pencils.

Normally I prefer using a 0.5 mm pencil for everyday use and minor line detail work, so when I found that 0.4 mm lead was available I decided to try out a new pencil with this lead type. It performs as expected for a medium toughness lead type. The lines are just as smooth in comparison to my normal 0.5 mm pencil but a little bit thinner. Because I can get a slightly thinner line without losing too much darkness from the lead on paper I can use this as a versatile daily pencil with the option for more detail work on the side. It won't be as thin or fine lined work as with a smaller lead type, but it provides a strong enough lead for regular writing with the option for some detail work without switching pencils as often. The price isn't bad considering this is a special lead size type not found easily in most supply stores local to me.
