Un radiatore olio è un radiatore separato, più piccolo rispetto al radiatore principale del motore, che mantiene una fornitura di olio a una temperatura costante e ottimale. Il suo scopo è raffreddare l'olio che passa attraverso le bobine, migliorando così la durata del motore e del cambio. Sono posizionati di fronte al sistema di raffreddamento del motore.

Fit my 2012 Cooper Mini S convertible and it includes a filter and the gaskets. Fit perfectly and has been holding up so far.

2012 Mini Cooper Countryman R60 turbo S ALL4.Original oil cooler started to drip oil down onto turbo exhaust pipe. More nuisance than threat.Bought new replacement part.Order date: May 30th 2024Replaced all turbo lines oil filter and coolant hoses. Auxiliary coolant pump and oil pressure sensor.New synthetic euro-oil and euro anti-freeze.Car put back into service June 2024 .Checked oil and anti-freeze levels and parked car over clean driied cardboard ..no issuesIn July taken car into local service station to have air conditioning charged and had mechanic check oil cooler area with scope....no issues.In August 2024 car oil light and heavy smoke from hood started. I immediately pulled car off highway and shut off.Heavy oil leak coming from oil cooler area.Car towed back home and placed in garage.Oil level was down 2 liters and coolant still in overflow bottle.Car put into service mode and found the oil leaked out from the heat exchange plate lower corner next to the locate Dowell pin.Appeared to be improperly factory fitted.Separated heat exchanger unit from oil cooler and found gasket pushed out of offending plate part. (PICTURE #1).On November 19th ordered another engine oil cooler from different supplier.(PICTURE #3). (PICTURE #2 IS ORIGIONAL MANUFACTURE EQUIPMENT).Upon removing from box and comparing with the original part and first replacement oil cooler. The new second oil cooler appears to be defective in the same area.Therefore do not want to use and will be returning. Unfortunately will be going to origional manufacturer for part.
