On opening these do seem to be quite daunting, there are a lot of loose parts and to be honest, the instructions aren't great. However, coupled with the item photos these are actually very simple to assemble.The metal hanger sections do feel quite hollow but seem to hold my jeans easily with no flex or sign of kinking; holding one size 32W 32L on each section.2 in the pack for this price is great value for money in my opinion as I've had full metal ones for more than the cost of these two that continuously fall apart.

Very practical, but doesn't work in my wardrobe, it's a pity.

The hangers arrived in a plastic bag inside the outer carton.The hangers require assembly, which was a little fiddly and the instructions have very small print and are of poor quality. I have used them so they are hanging down in order to save space, which they do, however I did notice that they flexed at the joints when I loaded them up with heavier trousers - which is disappointing given that they are mainly metal. At the current price of £16.99, given the fiddly assembly, poor instructions and flex I am struggling to recommend them at all especially when far cheaper alternatives are available that don’t require assembly.

This hanger system comes as a comprehensive kit for self-assembly, and the components supplied are of good quality. The instructions, however, are small and difficult to read. That said, it’s not really a problem, as a quick look at the Amazon listing shows what the finished product should look like.It looks great, but unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends. If you load these up with heavier items, like denim jeans, you might encounter the issues I had:1. The metal components of the hanger begin to bend and flex.2. When pulling jeans off the hanger, the metal part often comes out of the plastic frame, and the end caps pop off into the bottom of your wardrobe!Needless to say, I’m not impressed. If you were to hang ties or very light garments and have a spacious wardrobe with plenty of room, you might have more success. But for real-world use, it’s a good idea poorly executed.
