it is a gutsy little machine that chews a pencil to sharpness easily. The pencil point is rather fine, the sharpener does not stall as many of the others do. I would have this one again if I needed one. the only criticism is that the rubber feet are a bit slippy and I added some proper ones. but other than that the whole thing is a nice bundle

Excellent bit of kit for the lazy artist. Sharpens even soft pencil crayons to a fine point. Large wood shaving tray neatly moulded into the main body. Looks good and performs well. Only one slight draw back (maybe I'm being picky) and that is that once the pencil has a point there is no "free-wheeling" action to stop the sharpening - if you keep on the pressure it will just keep chewing down the pencil - so keep your expensive pencils out of the reach of the kids if they're playing with this. Expensive pencils should be hand sharpened anyway, and the kids would probably just say "What's a pencil?" All in all I consider it a good buy and I'm happy with it.

No problems with the sharpening but doesn't switch off. It has to be unplugged to stop it so can't leave it on my desk to use ad hoc. Bit disappointed with that bit.

So far so good, only just recieved it. Tried roughly 50 pencils to sharpen, not a single issue, all are sharp and no jagged edges on any of them. This is fully electric and requires you to plug into the socket, there is no options for battery. Also the waste compartment has plenty of room as i did not have to empty it at all after sharpening 50 pencils (i might add all pencils were completely blunt). My only concern is how long it will last as i know a lot of sharpeners break after a while. Will update in future.
