I was expecting to take a couple of hours to set this up, wading through software and "how to" instructions whilst grappling with connectivity issues.Instead - I placed it on a tripod (just a moderate size portable photo tripod), connected the power brick, connected the HDMI cable to a 4K TV and switched it on. The camera went through its self diagnostics and instantly displayed a crystal clear picture. Superbly easy to set up. Alternatively I could have chosen the other methods of connection such as to a laptop for recording or live streaming through the internet.With the supplied remote control it is easy to use or change all the functions of the camera, (I'm not sure what the range of the remote is but I got to about 30m with a clear line of sight and then ran out of room). Especially useful is the PTZ function obviously and the focusing when changing the perspective or the zoom is both fast and razor sharp.The picture is basically fantastic (IMO). Sorry to sound like I work for the company but I am genuinely blown away by the quality of this machine. The clarity and colour reproduction is as good as a good quality mirrorless camera IMO just looking at the picture on a big screen. The camera itself looks like it is encased in metal but this is in fact plastic which makes the whole unit lighter and easy to place on a tripod. It is still robust and solid as long as you are careful with handling as with any precision instrument.I can see so many applications for this camera such as covering of public or corporate events, weddings, music recordings, acting etc - anything where you need something that you can control from a distance whilst still getting optimal high quality results.In summary if you cover events of any kind I would say you need to consider getting a camera such as this. Highly Recommended

📦Lieferumfang:Der Lieferumfang der Chameye 4K PTZ Camera 20x Optical Zoom PTZ Camera 4K for Church Worship Conference Education Events, USB3.0/HDMI/LAN/PoE, C420, aus dem Chameye-Store, besteht aus:- 1x Chameye 4K PTZ Camera C420- 1x Fernbedienung, ohne Batterien, 2x AAA werden benötigt- 1x Netzteil- 1x Netzleitung- 1x USB Kabel- 1x HDMI Kabel- 1x RS 232 Kabel- 1x Montagematerial- 1x Bedienungsanleitung in EnglischLeider liegt mur eine englische Bedienungsanleitung bei.So hatte ich erst meine Schwierigkeiten die Kamera an das Laufen zu bringen.Wer will kann sie mittels der Fernbedienung konfigurieren und dem HDMI Anschluß oder ebenfalls über selbiges um die IP-Adresse der Kamera zu bekommen.In beiden Fällen ist das Menü in Englisch.Hat man die kleine Hürde hinter sich gebracht kann es dann schon los gehen.Hier kann man sich über eine 4k Auflösung erfreuen mit 30Fps.Um es allerdings flüssiger zu haben sollte man dann doch die 1080ps mit 60Fps wählen.Die Kamera hat einen optischen Zoom von 20x, der auch wunderbar funktioniert.Hier kann man den Focus auf automatic oder manuell einstellen.Um gute Bilder zu bekommen bedarf es auch einer guten Ausleuchtung, das sollte hier nicht vergessen werden.Ob man jetzt 4k brauch für einen Livestream weiß ich nicht, viele Daten.🏆Fazit:Die Chameye 4K PTZ Camera 20x Optical Zoom macht einen guten Job für das Streamen von Konferenzen.Hier kann man mal auch etwas hochhalten was auch gelesen werden kann.Sicherlich auch für Influencer interressant.Kaufempfehlung? 👍Nach einer vor einiger Zeit mal von Amazon veröffentlichten Bewertungs-Tabelle bedeuten5 Sterne - - - - - gefällt mir sehr4 Sterne - - - - - gefällt mir3 Sterne - - - - - ist OK2 Sterne - - - - - gefällt mir nicht1 Stern - - - - - - gefällt mir gar nicht

The Chameye website has no option for support. Did a "contact us" email and got an initial reply. After i told them my issues, i never heard back from them again. Ended up returning the camera. Be aware there is no support other than "contact us" emails and i got no support. I was "ghosted". Hope you have a better experience.(UPDATE) Since this review Chameye has gotten back to me and the support has been nothing but great. Sandy is very responsive and they have bent over backwards to fix all of my issues. It must have been an email issue, because they have gotten back to me with an email response within 24hrs. Great Service

I've been wanting to start filming some events at a local church as part of my services offered as a photographer, and what was really important to me when looking for a PTZ camera like this option from brand CHAMEYE, coming from a background of using Super35 sensor video cameras to optimize video signal quality, was that I didn’t want a PTZ camera that produced video that looked like it was coming off of a security camera or small-sensor camcorder.I'm glad I made the right choice. I am absolutely not a pro when it comes to PTZ cameras, so there is nothing technical from this review happening. It is quite a learning curve to figure out even the basic functions of this device, but I have had a blast figuring it all out. What I do know, is that it was super easy considering my lack of experience with PTZ cameras. And the important thing was, as noted, the video quality. I've already tested this in a large auditorium, and I am really glad I made the right choice. The ability of this camera to visualize what I was trying to manifest on film for events will be a breeze with this choice, no question about it.Tons of features and longevity for church or auditorium style documentation videography. 5 stars.
