Easy read thermometer, plastic construction a little thin, appears to be a few degrees out. Time will tell if it lasts.

I've had enough of electronic weather stations which may work or not. Replacing batteries & resetting connections with the outside sensors. So... I decided to go "Old School". This simple thermometer is attached to a downpipe outside my kitchen window. It is easy to read, there are no tech bits to go wrong & I don't need to replace any batteries. On top of this, it is accurate & always there to check on. Just a glance out of the window & I can see it's 10°C. I don't need to know how warm it is in my house because I'm already in here, but will I need a coat or jacket outside?Great & cheap item which is used every day.

I was initially looking at digital electronic 'IN / OUT' thermometers, so that I could see the temperature both inside my summerhouse and outside in the garden.... instead I simply purchased two of these basic traditional thermometers, that of course require no batteries / cables etc. Very large and clear and easy to fit to a wall / fence.
