I have given this a general ration of 4 stars because there are some features that I have not tested yet and some elements which I feel could be improved, and my thoughts and observations are outlined below.I have had my internet radio now for a week or so, long enough to give it a run-in I think.Generally, I am quite happy with it. The set up was not that bad, though "Skip WPS" was not an obvious option for manually entering my wi-fi code. Once connected, the wi-fi reconnects without problem when the radio is turned on. Comments have been made about having to accept the privacy notice (or whatever it is) at the end the set-up process by going online, but just pressing the "back" button cleared this and allowed the set-up process to be completed. What I wanted was a portable radio, ideally with an inbuilt battery or least using batteries and so this is fine. The plus sides of the radio are its portability, obviously, but also the quality of the speaker. I have not tried music stations but it is easily good enough for spoken word. I was tempted by another brand, but felt that the buttons on this appeared to be more substantial and easy to use. There are, of course, gripes. First of all, when using the scroll wheel to enter text, it is pain having to scroll through about 4 lists just to get to the OK and backspace options; conversely, when entering my wi-fi password, the spacing of the letters on screen was wider than normal, making it much easier to read the password and check it was correct before entering it.Gripe number two is, I suspect, a software issue but may be down to the portal being used for internet stations. When using DAB, as well as the station name and logo, details of the programme being played are displayed along with any other messages like "coming next", which is great for changing stations to avoid something or finding out what you have been listening to without knowing its name. You do not get this on the internet radio settings. The "info" button does give some extra information, but nothing which is really useful in this respect.Gripe 3 is again probably down to the portal and not the radio as I have had the same issue with my other radios. In the "Country / Category" listings, there is no menu for "comedy", so I had to search manually for my favourite stations (PumpkinFM and Rokit). A neat thing, though, is that when I found the first of these, a sub-menu did come up on screen with the other stations in these two groups, so there was no need to go back to the main list and search again.Gripe 4 probably is the most significant of the lot. I have been running this on four AA batteries for a few days, a couple of hours a day, until yesterday when I had it on solidly for about five hours. During this time, the battery indicator fell from three bars to two, which made sense, but within minutes this had gone down to one bar and then in next to no time to a "low battery" warning message, so the conclusion is that the battery status indicator is not overly reliable or believable. So, taking into consideration the postive and not so positive elements, what is my general feeling? For the money, quite a decent product but there are some refinements that could me made to make it even better. Stage two is the durability, but that will take several months if not longer to establish.------Since writing the original review I have had no real issues with the radio, save for those mentioned, until tonight when, for no apparent reason, all my stored internet stations came up as being unreachable (which they are via another radio that I own) and even the station list would not display. This was after various power downs and restarts (I have resisted a full factory reset and resetting of the modem as no other device in the house is affected by this it seems) and changing the channel on the modem manually from 5g to 2.4g. The software checker tells me that the software is up to date, so this should not be an issue. So, support have been contacted....=====updated 3rd. January 2025Support came back and suggested a factory reset and sending a video of the fault. Fortunately, after powering down the unit entirely for several hours and leaving it off it has come back to life and is working properly again now, but with no good or apparent reason for going off line like it did. Let's hope that this is just a glitch which does not repeat itself....

After my initial review, now changing my 5 star rating.Had to reach out to Lemega as radio switches off after 20 minutes and the Sleep function cannot count down from 45 minutes as it, too, switches off after 20 minutes. You also have to manually update the time when clocks go back.Positives - setting up radio itself is straightforward using WPS button on the router, I now have 4 preset stations, went quickly to sleep listening to Smooth Radio and woke up to Greatest Hits. The alarm does work.Unfortunately the white radio was not available, the walnut is a bit hard on the eye and with all the other problems I will be returning this to Amazon to deal with.
