Great little mag pouch. Very pleased. HOWEVER, do NOT leave mags in them and leave them in your vehicle. The inside of the vehicle heats up in the sun and this caused the pouches to loose a lot of retention. I wish I had known this.

If you want a kydex insert mag panel like Esstac but don't want to spend the absurd money they sell for, get these, these are top notch and just as good as the alternative and cost over less than actual Esstacs.

I figured I could sneak away with a cheap esstac repro but unfortunately not. First off , the re-tension that the kydex inserts have is way too tight. I had to push astronomically hard to get a pmag gen 3 and gen 2 fully seated. Then on the retrieval of the mags I had to pull so hard that my entire rig would shift up upon grabbing them. They certainly will not go anywhere if that’s what you’re looking for, but if you plan on re-indexing your mags I would suggest just buying the real esstac or at least esstac’s kydex inserts. The straps that are included cause the pouch to bulge off of your placard about a quarter of an inch. Stitching is fine and the pouch seems to be of decent quality , but man those inserts and straps caused me a lot of time and effort trying to get them to function properly. Thankfully Amazon refunded me for the order so I do appreciate that, but yes if you’re looking for a reindexing option that fits flush to your rig , I’d suggest not making the mistake I did and go with the real esstac !
