I bought two packages of these lights for Halloween and Christmas because you can change the colors. I took them out of the box and Set them around my room. I turned them on to Make sure everything worked and they all worked. I Went to turn them on for Halloween a few weeks later and none of them work. Not one of them work or turn on. DO NOT BUY this product.

I ordered these lights as accents for my birthday party. The day of the party when we were setting them up we realized all of the included batteries were dead. Not only that but the instructions said to remove the paper cut out inside each light, there were no paper cut out in any of them. At which point I realized I had been sold a used set. This caused me to spend over $45+ just to get the proper batteries to use what should have been new functioning lights :( Once the batteries were replaced the lights did work as expected.

With my favorite holiday coming up -- Halloween. I wanted to try these to see how they'd work for various Halloween displays. Surprising bright for mini lights, I found these lights work great for lighting specimen jars, beakers, flasks, jack-o-lanterns and cauldrons. Though, they'd work great for any holiday since they have such a wide color palette to choose from. Conveniently controlled with a remote, these lights are a great option for above cabinets or other hard to reach places. Since they're water tight, you can also use them with or without liquids, which makes them very versatile. With 20 in a pack, you'll have plenty to light your decorations with. The lights have a "strobe" option on them (which only works for white lighting), but the strobe effect is more of a slow blink. The lights also come with a "flash", "fade", and "smooth" option, but you can't select a single color because they'll just cycle through all available colors. Batteries are replaceable, but I can't speak to battery life yet. Overall, a great addition for anyone looking for small, compact LED lighting options with a convenient remote and a wide array of colors for holidays, special occasions or even everyday use.

Every year we have a Halloween-themed, bonfire party at my house where we use a bunch of lights not only for spooky fun and decoration, but for function as well. When the sun sets, we need some brighter lights to have on the tables and in lanterns so people can see what they're putting on their plates. These lights are going to be so perfect! They're fun, bright, colorful, and I can pick a theme and change it all over again with the push of a button on the remote. Having a remote to do my bidding is 200% better than having to locate where I placed every single light, flip it over and flip a switch to turn it on (and repeat to turn them all off).Every light arrived in perfect working condition. When turning the lights on for the first time you have to make sure you remove the piece of paper that separates the light from the battery, then they're good to go! I keep all the small paper discs so that when the lights go into storage for a while the batteries won't drain as fast-- or at least that's my theory...It can be tricky to get them all to be a different solid color from each other, (or to change color out of unison) but I found that if I hid one under a small box, that it would stay at its current setting while using the remote to change the color of another light outside the box. However, I don't know how realistic that method would be for larger-scaled parties like weddings where more lights would probably be used...
