Non si può che imparare da questo maestro senza tempo

Un volume bellissimo per il contenuto, la qualità della scrittura e per il prezzo ma del tutto mancante di digitazione. Certo, uno se la può fare personalizzata e sarebbe anche un ottimo esercizio per la preparazione e l'esecuzione dei brani, ma se uno è pigro e con poco tempo a disposizione... Come dicono a Roma: "...e quanno affitti!"

Other than the ornaments, tempo markings, and dynamics, this book no other editing like fingerings. I suppose if you are at the level to play these sonatas, one can do one's own editing. Beautiful music!

l'ho regalato ed è stato molto gradito

Ottima per prezzo e impaginazione ma non da cinque stelle perché manca della sonata in do maggiore incompleta che avrei voluto suonare. È stata una delusione dato che si spaccia per un libro completo nelle sonate di Franz.

This Dover edition of the sometimes undervalued Schubert sonatas is by Julius Epstein and originates from the Breitkopf and Hartel complete works edition. There are no performance notes and the 'lay flat sewn-binding' of 290 odd pages will not last forever. However, at this price, still an outstanding bargain for all piano students who wish acquaint themselves with these scores.

This book is a reprint of the 1888 Breitkopf & Härtel edition. Kudos to Dover for making this edition available, since you could spend 10 times as much buying another edition such as the Henle Verlag.
